Ten Tips For Perfect Kid Photo - Part One

Some of the most common photos in the family album are the photos of children. A lot of people buy a camera just to make photos of their children and family. This is the reason to mark the ten most important things that you should know to make a really memorable kid photo.

  1. Never snap the child from above i.e. from your point of view. Squat and put the camera at the level of the child’s eyes.

  2. If you want to make a photo of playing child, do not put the child in the centre of the photo. Divide the picture by three equal parts in your mind. Your object should be at the border between first and second or second and third part

  3. On the other hand, if you are trying to make a portrait photo, fill the frame with the child. Since your child is the star, make sure they get top billing. The closer you get, the better.

  4. If you are taking an outdoor photo in the summer, do it before 11 AM and after 3 – 4 PM. At noon the Sun is falling from above and there will be ugly shadows around the eyes. It is preferable the light to fall obliquely.

  5. Avoid making photos at bright sun. The children will look with eyes half-closed, the shadows are very contrast and the light is uneven. The camera could not adapt as the human eye. That's especially valid for the lower class cameras.
